I am an owner of a highly desired end unit #437 (week 28) located at the end of the pier in the 4-story Northwind building of the Wyndham Newport Onshore resort in Newport RI. You cannot find a better location in Newport with all the amenities included for a family or friends who want to make the most of trip to historic Newport. The Northwind building juts out onto the spectacular Newport harbor and has the most incredible harbor view to enjoy at all times of the day, including the sunset. You are on the 3rd floor literally right above the gorgeous yachts in the harbor looking down at them from your spacious wrap around covered front balcony with full harbor views where you can sit at outdoor table with chairs and enjoy your meals and beverages, sunsets, or just read the daily newspaper that is provided at the lobby. There is also a covered back balcony with full harbor views as well.

Inside the unit, there are 2 Bedrooms, a large living room and sofa that pulls out to a comfortable queen bed (not flimsy), 2 full bathrooms, full kitchens, dining area, washer, dryer, and 2 prime parking spots next to the unit. With the 2 bedrooms (one bedroom has two single beds and the other has a king bed) and the sofa bed, 6 people can sleep comfortably in beds. There is also plenty of room in the unit to add air beds or other sleeping apparatus to fit up to 8.

The onsite amenities are listed in this listing and free towels are provided for indoor and outdoor pool by the Wyndham staff at the onsite lobby. The pools are surrounded by a fenced in private courtyard overlooking the harbor where you can use provided outdoor grills, tables and chairs to cook and sit down, eat your food and enjoy beverages. There is also a sauna and workout room, and a gated parking lot with 2 free parking spaces close to your unit. The location is very secure. There is locked lobby entrance accessible via your room key where a private elevator (for only 6 units) exists to access your 3rd floor unit. The entire building was updated and remodeled in 2020 so all the kitchen cabinets, counter-tops, bathroom vanities, jacuzzis, tubs, sinks, flooring, furniture, HVAC, blinds, paint and decorations are all brand new
