We are happy to offer White O' Morn, a smoke free vacation home for rent during all seasons of 2021. White O' Morn is located on a quiet cove in Deerfield Resort overlooking Norris Lake. This 5,500+ sq. ft. home is designed for the entertainment and relaxation of family and friends. It is ideal for families with young children and teens to enjoy, or a group of friends who just want to get together. The home boasts 4 generously sized bedrooms that will comfortably sleep 16 people. A Carriage Apartment with 2 bedrooms accommodates 8 persons. Each bedroom in the main house features a private full bath with a large walk-in fully tiled shower. The Carriage Apartment has 1 bathroom with a fully tiled shower.
The house first floor is handicapped accessible. The additional living space that comfortably accommodates 8 persons in 2 bedrooms, is the Carriage Apartment.
Enjoy using all your culinary skills in a VERY LARGE gourmet kitchen (27'x30') that easily seats 22. The kitchen islands, (5'x 12' and 5'x 8') with granite countertops provide ample preparation area for several cooks who can enjoy working together using the 3 large double sinks, 2 dishwashers, 6-burner gas cook top, pot filler, warming drawer, double oven, 2 microwave ovens, 34 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer w/ice maker and an under counter wine/beverage refrigerator. There is also a 25 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer at the custom bar in the lower level. A 25 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer is in the Carriage Apartment. Ample non-refrigerated food storage space is available. A large, French Country, walk-in butlers pantry near the kitchen is where your morning coffee awaits you, and where the many small appliances including 3 twelve cup coffee makers, a Kuerig coffee maker, and a coffee bean grinder, are located. Use the 2 thermal coffee carafes to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the early morning skiers as they glide across the mirror like lake water. A generous supply of dishware/glassware, 2 silverware drawers, cooking pots and pans, cooking utensils, and serving pieces/appetizer dishes are provided. Bring your favorite ice cream/sherbet (it packs well in insulated soft sided cooler bags) for a children's ice cream parfait party.
A large vaulted great room with a fireplace contains a 55" Smart TV with a VCR and DVD player is on the first floor.
The kitchen and Great Room exit to a covered porch with dining tables seating for 14 +. Two large gas grills are there for your outdoor grilling. Both upper and lower decks have many Adirondack chairs for conversation areas or just watching the lake.
Bring your "Fire TV Stick" for movies on 3 Smart TV's . The lower level also has a 75" Smart widescreen Satellite TV w/ DVD player, fireplace, large custom bar, pool table, sitting area, and laundry room.
The property has 22 ceiling fans outside and inside to stir the warm summer air on the dock or deck, and inside to keep the a/c circulating comfortably.
A short flight of stairs leads to a covered boat dock with 2 boat slips and a large swimming platform. It can easily accommodate up to 5 boats/jet skis. Enjoy a good book or watch the children swim with 2 ceiling fans to stir the warm summer air. A closet is there to store your life vests or small water toys for the next day's fun on the water. Hang up your wet beach towels to dry on the 2 dock clothes line. Additional folding canvas director chairs with cup holders are in the closet for your use. An atomic clock is there to keep your vacation activities on schedule. This lake front cove and private dock make it a safe and relaxing place to spend time on the water and allows young children to swim at the dock without being overwhelmed by boat wake from the main channel of the lake. White O' Morn is just moments away from Sugar Hollow Marina for fuel or lunch, and a short distance to Shanghai Marina and Springs Dock. Oasis Watersports Boat Rental will deliver and pick up the boat/jet ski rental at our dock for no extra charge.
If you have babies in your group we have available for your use 2 full size cribs w/ mattress, mattress pads, crib sheets, bumper pads, 1 high chair, 1 toddler booster seat, 1 baby stroller, and an assortment of books and toys. There is no charge for you to use these items.
Kitchen towels are provided however, personal bath towels, personal beach towels, and personal toiletries are not provided. You will need to bring your own bath towels/beach towels. There are 2 clothes washers and 2 clothes dryers for your use.
The 1,600 sq. ft. Carriage Apartment is above the garage and can accommodate up to 8 people. It features a full service kitchen, full bath, living area with a 42" Smart TV, 1 king bed bedroom, and a large upstairs loft with 3 full size beds and 3 twin beds.
