Park Place is a cozy, rustic cabin, centrally situated between Deer Isle Village and the village of Stonington, and nestled in a private wooded setting overlooking a peaceful cove that opens to Southwest Harbor with multiple islands, coves and inlets awaiting exploration. The cabin has a charming, casual nature with bare wood walls and relaxed furnishings. It is further enhanced by wide plank pine floors, vaulted ceilings and a woodstove with plenty of firewood. There is a TV and DVD player for watching movies. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to cook meals including a lobster pot. There are three bedrooms. The first has two twin beds, the second has a queen bed, and the third has a queen bed and set of bunk beds. There are ample linens, pillows, blankets and towels. The bathroom has hot and cold running water in both sink and shower and there is an electric toilet. An open patio on the front of the cottage and large elevated balcony along the waterside provide views through the trees to the shore and cove. Surrounding woods offer a great place to explore and a short path leads to the beach. There are stairs down to a sheltered area for swimming at higher tides. A mooring is available. This is a truly wonderful cabin experience that lets you relax and enjoy nature with added conveniences to make your stay cozy and comfortable.
