The 4-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home is located on Prinyers Cove, an area originally settled by Lieutenant MacDonnell and the United Empire Loyalists in 1784. During your stay you can enjoy activities on the waterfront, spend time with family and friends on the private patio and screened-in veranda, overlooking the scenic cove, and relax on the open veranda and take in the view of the spacious grounds, gardens and neighbouring farmland. The 3200 square foot house is adjacent to Prinyers Cove Marina. The sheltered cove can be viewed from the large family room, well-equipped gourmet kitchen, formal dining/living room and two of the 4 bedrooms. The second floor bedrooms can accommodate 8 guests and each of the four bedrooms have full private ensuite baths. Enjoy a soak in the master bedroom slipper tub or the water view air tub. Laundry facilities are on the second floor. There is ample parking for house guests inside and in front of the attached garage. The first and second floors of the house and a private backyard are exclusively for guest use during your stay. There is no access to the basement, which is used for storage. The remainder of the 3-acre property is shared with marina patrons and guests of the loft, a one-bedroom apartment adjacent to the house, which is also available for rent from May to October. The use of canoes and kayaks and the boat launch are included. Overnight dock space is also available for rent. Spend your day on the water, biking quiet country roads, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, bird-watching, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Experience the local wineries and breweries, restaurant cuisine and fresh market produce, shopping, art galleries, spas, theatre, historical sites and special events. Nearby attractions include Lake-on-the-Mountain, Glenora Ferry, Rose Museum, Waupoos Winery, County Cider Company, Waupoos Pub, Cressy Market & Eatery, Del Gatto Winery, Cape Vineyards, and Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co. Prince Edward County is home to 800 km of shoreline and the famous Sandbank beaches and dunes. A park pass for Sandbanks and North Beach is included in the rental. The Bay of Quinte is a popular destination for fishing. Restaurants and wineries can be found throughout the County. MacDonnell Landing is a 10 minute drive to Waupoos and a 20 minute drive to Main St. Picton. You can also enjoy shopping in the towns of Bloomfield and Wellington.
