Local villages, such as Port Carling, Minett, and Port Sandfield are easily accessable by boat for all your dining and shopping needs! This beautiful private island is a 5 minute boatride from Foots Bay Marina in Mactier. Private launch at Stills Bay 7 min away for mainland parking and boat slip. By car or boat, 10 min drive to Port Carling. Built on a shelf of Precambrian rock overlooking Lake Joesph, this outstanding property offers ultimate privacy for the perfect family retreat! Boasting multiple outdoor living spaces, Lyford Island contains a large sundock with a sheltered seating area, loungers, diving board and hotub! For additional entertaining needs, the cottage's covered wrap around porch contains a large picnic table and ping-pong table for outdoor fun! The island is also home to a beautiful boathouse located on the other side of the property on a private bay. Equipped with two boat slips, massive sundeck, patio furntiure and an outdoor hot tub, the boathouse offers even more space for family activities!
